Kerry Robinson, Assistant Account Executive
Kerry’s extensive insight into both the restaurant and retail industries make her an invaluable asset to the Motion PR team. Her face-to-face experience with business-owners and consumers not only translates into an understanding of clients’ needs, but also the needs of the customers they’re trying to reach. With a background in communications and promotions, Kerry gives Motion PR an extra leg up on the competition when it comes to effectively publicizing events and product launches in Chicago and across the country.
Prior to joining Motion PR, Kerry completed an intensive promotions internship with Press Communications, a broadcasting company in her home state of New Jersey. During her internship, Kerry collaborated with local businesses and bands from all over the country, creating a presence for the company’s three radio stations at concerts and venues all over the state. Her internship focused on executing new visibility strategies and tactics for increasing listener numbers by way of viral and grassroots marketing.
At Motion PR, Kerry has made her mark by gaining clients exposure everywhere from WGN and ABC news affiliates, to the Chicago Tribune and Daily Candy. Given Kerry’s adaptability and innovative intuition, her introduction into the world of professional PR has been seamless. She’s helped spearhead a number of business and product launches.
Kerry graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Communications, concentrating in Mass Media Public Relations and a minor in Spanish Studies. Her love for traveling and exploring new cultures has taken her to Granada, Spain (where she became fluent in the Spanish language) as well as on a two and a half month road trip across the country.
