Just a month ago we shared Motion PR’s New Year’s resolutions for 2013 and through a whirlwind of excitement, January has flown by. Through all the frenzy, we’ve managed to stay on track and even exceed expectations. From new clients to a plethora of TV segments to employee anniversaries, it’s been an exciting start to the year.
We’re thrilled to kick off the year with several new clients, including the Chicago Area Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Swirlgear and Goldfish Swim School. We are also happy to be renewing our partnerships with clients Pizzeria Serio, Little Monsters Gear, Over the Rainbow, Wine Riot and Appetite for Health. If the first month of the year is any indication, 2013 is going to be a busy and fun-filled year….just the way we like it!
When we weren’t busy stacking up new clients, the team was pitching TV ideas and hitting it out of the park. During the month of January we placed six stellar segments in Chicago on stations including ABC, FOX, WGN, WCIU and NBC. TV topics ranged from a PR analysis of the Manti Te’o scandal featuring Motion PR President Kimberly Eberl, to a newly opened Chicago spot for little swimmers of all ages. January was also a month of milestones. Three of our valued team members celebrated anniversaries, including our fearless Associate Nicole Pitaro, pitching rock star Account Executive Dan Cornfield and the always media savvy Senior Account Executive Derek Serafin. What’s more, Motion PR will soon be on the move! We’ve locked down some prime real estate in the Loop to call “home” beginning this spring and for many years to come. Details to come soon!
