Red Bull Flugtag: This past weekend in Minneapolis Red Bull hosted their annual Flugtag event. Flugtag means “flying day” for all you non-German speaking folks out there. Flugtag is a day that brings teams together to create their very own homemade flying machines, and launch them off of a 30-foot high ramp, to see which team can fly the furthest or more realistically who can avoid crashing into the water head first. Over 90,000 people made it out to the event and they had the pleasure of witnessing a world record. Yes, that’s right, team Major Trouble and the Dirty Dixies flew past the previous record of 195 feet and splashed into the Mississippi River after being in the air for a grand total of 207 feet. For achieving this epic feat the team will receive a flight on the Red Bull Albatross (Red Bulls very own restored seaplane). Pretty cool, huh?
Fearlessflowers.com: This “budding” DIY flower arranging website’s creater, Annie Vanderwarker fearlessly stepped up to the mic and spoke on Martha Stewart Radio’s Living Today show with Mario Bosquez. Annie gave some great tips on flower arranging and gracefully answered a series of questions from the host and handful of callers. Annie’s wealth of flower knowledge was evident, as she explained how a first-time flower arranger could turn a beer bottle into a vase as well as the perfect flowers to include as the centerpiece for a dinner party. Let’s just say Motion PR’s office will be smelling of fresh flowers tomorrow…
Razor Reach: Tune in tomorrow to the Wendy Williams Show to see a product feature of Razor Reach! Wendy will be demonstrating the benefits of Razor Reach’s unique extendable razor and her crowd will even get to take the product home. The show is on Fox at 11am central time and BET at 11pm.
