Exciting news!
Women’s Health Foundation’s founder, Missy Lavender, sat down with Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Sheperd yesterday morning, on The View, to open up a VERY important dialogue on Light Bladder Leakage (LBL). As something that affects one in three women and is often caused by weak pelvic floor muscles, this is a topic very near and dear to Women’s Health Foundation.
Sharing facts and personal stories, Missy (along with Whoopi) let the audience know that LBL can affect women of all ages and life stages — not just older women, and is VERY common. Whoopi, who has teamed up with Poise, on this nationwide effort to increase awareness of LBL premiered her “1 In 3 Like Me” webisode on the topic that you can watch here: http://theview.abc.go.com/one-in-three-like-me
Many women are commenting and grateful for the willingness of Missy and Whoopi to talk about such a personal issue openly and are all a buzz on The View’s Discussion Board. Check out what women like you are saying about it!
